Race Louvers is proud to offer our new RST Truck Trim series of hood vents. We've taken our proven line of wind tunnel tested hood extractors for racing to the offroad community. These louvers significantly outperform the competition and are designed for increased cooling at highway speeds coupled with maximum cooling at zero speed. Our louvers increase airflow thru the radiator for lower engine temperatures, increase airflow thru the engine bay for reduced under hood temperatures and allow the fan assembly to move more air up and out of the hood. All of our louvers are made from heavy gauge aluminum for rigidity, light weight and corrosion resistance while our all aluminum ez install rivets or stainless fasteners keep the entire kit rust free. These a great for towing heavy loads, offroading and rock crawling.

2015 f150 race louvers
I went with Race Louvers because their fin design best fit the type of racing that I do. A lot of other Hood louver competitors cater towards road and track spec anticipating continuous high speeds to draw air out of the motor. Those event designs are typically acute and at rest trap more heat than you would think. I drag race and often times I am sitting in lanes or trying to alleviate heat soak between passes. The more open design allows heat to dissipate more efficiently without having to pop the hood all the time and are still being effective at speed. The install went well and the template worked great to make me feel comfortable before punching that first hole in the hood. The more open vent design allows for tons of heat to pull away from the motor when parked and I will definitely buy another set on my next build.
